James is founder and managing director of Titan Talent Ltd, a management consulting firm specialising in leadership development, executive coaching, high-performing teams and talent management solutions. He is also co-founder and director of Strengths Partnership Ltd, a specialist provider of strengths-focused solutions to help organisations translate people's strengths and talents into business results.

James has a strong track record of experience and thought leadership in strengths-focused solutions to talent development and performance improvement; building inspirational leadership; executive and cross-cultural coaching; enabling change and designing innovative assessment solutions to identify, retain and develop talent.

Before establishing Titan Talent, James held a variety of leadership positions in Human Resources and Consulting in European and global corporations including Yahoo!, Right Management Consultants and Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals.

He has worked on consulting and executive coaching assignments with a wide variety of organisations, including ABN-AMRO, Norsk Hydro, Johnson and Johnson, the Foreign Office, Cable and Wireless, Novartis, fish4, News International, Foster Wheeler, Abbey, Shell, Career Builder, KBR, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

James is experienced in the use of a wide range of Level A and B psychological tests (incl. MBTI, FIRO-B, Hogan, 16PF and OPQ) as well as 3600 feedback systems. He has authored several assessment tools, including a market leading strengths assessment profiler called ©Strengthscope www.strengthscope.com.

Having lived in the United States, Denmark, UK and South Africa and worked extensively with multicultural groups around the world, James has a good understanding of intercultural factors impacting leadership development, coaching and talent management.

James has a Masters Degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology and a MBA from the University of Maryland in the U.S.A. He also has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching.

James is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is also a member of the Association of Business Psychologists, Institute of Directors and Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.

James regularly contributes commentary to the human resources and national press. He writes a weekly column, "Analyze Me", which analyses the personalities of British celebrities for a leading Sunday national in the UK. He has also recently featured in articles in Personnel Today, HR Director, Coaching at Work and the Financial Times. James is an experienced public speaker and has contributed to a wide variety of human resources and business seminars and conferences.
